We have an opportunity available for a Senior Manager of Shared Services - Finance in our Branchburg, NJ facility. The successful candidate should be prepared to help provide world-class service to a diverse customer base, including many leading medical device manufacturers.

General Summary:

The newly created position of Sr. Manager, Shared Services will assist the Sr. Director with building out the shared services finance function for our growing organization. The role will focus on and oversee Accounts Payable, T&E, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, and Fixed Assets. This position will provide leadership, guidance and expertise to these functions. This position is also responsible for identifying and executing accounting related projects that support company and department strategic initiatives and continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will be open to taking on a variety of new tasks and projects. The candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable, T&E, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections and Fixed Assets.
  • Manage the professionals that lead each shared service function and provide guidance when needed.
  • Assist the Sr. Director with building out the shared services finance function.
  • Prepare management reports and analyses including KPI's regarding each function overseen.
  • Assist with Treasury and banking responsibilities, including routine wire payment processing (domestic and foreign), preparing payment requests, etc.
  • Organize the annual review of department policies and provide suggested updates.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and the willingness to make recommendations to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Assist with various Corporate Finance tasks and department-wide initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • BS in Accounting is required. CPA, a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner with general supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Strong Excel skills required.
