General Summary:

You will manage and oversee the day to day responsibilities of the Zeus End User Computing Team. This team is responsible for the configuration and management of systems that control the configuration and security posture of end user devices, included but not limited to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT devices.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizes team's work to ensure proper support coverage for incoming requests from Tier 1 ServiceDesk.
  • Work directly with Security Team to address vulnerabilities, patching and device hardening requirements.
  • Oversee and direct the configuration and management of mobile device management systems.
  • Accountable for the operational excellence of endpoint patch testing and endpoint patch deployment to match the organization's desired security posture.
  • Accountable for the operational excellence of endpoint software deployment and associated configurations.
  • Research and resolve technical issues using problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Provide configuration and system administration for SSO/SAML technologies
  • Accountable for creating and deploying the gold image catalog for the organization and ensuring that images meet the desired security posture and are updated when necessary.
  • Generate and maintain configuration documentation for all responsible systems.
  • Manage incident response for related systems, including planning, testing and training
  • Oversee documentation and infrastructure change management processes
  • Work with vendors to ensure that products are properly deployed, configured and achieving the desired device posture.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining functional end user policies.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining approved list of devices and applications
  • Maintain relevant, up-to-date knowledge of Operating Systems, management technologies, design best practices, and support technologies.
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed to comply with recognized frameworks (NIST, CIS Critical Security Controls, OWASP, etc.) as it relates to End User Computing Services capabilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing vertical.
  • High degree of initiative, dependable and able to work with little supervision while being resilient to change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working among cross functional teams
  • Excellent work ethic with a passion for learning and improving others


  • One or more recognized system administration/infrastructure certifications (e.g. Network+, Cloud+, Server+, Linux +, VCP, CCFH, MCP).
  • A broad understanding of system administration best practices, including current security issues and trends.
  • 5+ years' prior experience in team management, security analysis, system administration, information, or similar experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, business administration or a technology-related field.
