Reporting to the HR Manager the main purpose of this role is to coordinate the day to day HR activities across a range of areas including recruitment, selection, employee relations, and benefits.

The role

  • Providing HR support to Managers and team members on HR policies
  • Managing the time and attendance system for weekly payroll
  • Participating in and arranging recruitment and selection activities
  • Developing new initiatives and enhancing existing programmes for employee engagement
  • Supporting employee relations and internal communications activities
  • Coordinating and delivering training events
  • Maintaining the HR information system and relevant administration

The candidate

  • Relevant experience in HR (e.g. HR Officer, Generalist)
  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Relevant Human Resources administration experience
  • HR Information System maintenance, preferably Oracle system
  • Recruitment and Selection Experience
  • Employee relations experience (discipline and grievance handling)
  • Experience of time and attendance systems

The successful candidate will have strong organisational, interpersonal and administration skills and they will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be welcomed.
