Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Auditor will be responsible for the full internal auditing plan for the site. Other auditing responsibilities will include the facilitation of all external audits from customers and certification Bodies. The successful candidate will lead projects to drive improvements in the Quality Management System (QMS).

This position will primarily be based on the Day Shift however, there will be an occasional requirement to work across all shifts to conduct audits.

Key duties include:

  • Facilitating all external audits
  • Conducting process, compliance and product audits in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Generating and reviewing audit reports
  • Coordinating the Layered Process Audit System
  • Assessing CAPA effectiveness periodically and providing feedback to the CAPA team
  • Delivering training to relevant stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess at least one of the following:

  • Be a certified Auditor;
  • Have at least two years' auditing experience;
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100D or IATF 16949.
