General Summary:

The role is responsible for strategic planning, sales growth, problem resolution, and establishing sales targets to meet company objectives by partnering with the management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to Zeus' Eastern Americas medical customer base. Manages and directs the execution of field sales plans, strategy and initiatives. Uses field sales experience and demonstrated excellence in a complex component supplier environment to foster continuous sales growth.


Principal duties and responsibilities:

  1. Plans and directs Zeus' sales policies, objectives, and initiatives in the Eastern Americas sales region for medical accounts.
  2. Develops and oversees the Eastern Americas medical field sales functions, ensuring the employees and sales plan are organized to achieve maximum sales volume and coordinate support from inside sales and customer service teams.
  3. Proficient in a variety of sales and marketing concepts, practices, and procedures. Manages regional pipeline creation and funnel execution. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  4. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  5. Develops annual regional sales plan in support of company strategy and objectives.
  6. Directs implementation and execution of Go-To-Market strategy, policies and practices.
  7. Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements.
  8. Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on regional market research and competitor analyses.
  9. Develops, implements and oversees approved distribution strategies.
  10. Manages multiple channel selling strategies.
  11. Builds, develops and manages the sales team to ensure they are capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  13. Travel within the sales region required.






Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with at least 7 years of experience in Field Sales in the Americas.
  • Leadership: a "servant leadership" style of leading people and getting results through others.
  • Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-3 year time span.
  • Proven expertise in a component supplier manufacturing environment.
  • Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Sales and service systems development and deployment.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Technical skills in strategic planning and sales planning and forecasting.
  • Employee training and development.
  • High level of customer focus with deep insight into customer behaviors.
  • Strong CRM experience with funnel and pipeline management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
  • Development of high performance teams and a demonstrated strong team player.
  • Commitment to company values.
  • Computer proficiency
