Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Auditor will be responsible for the full internal auditing plan for the site. Other Auditing Responsibilities will include the facilitation of all external audits from Customers and Certification Bodies. The successful candidate will lead other tasks & initiatives (as required) to drive improvements in the QMS.


This is a Day Shift position however, there will be requirement to work across all shifts to conduct audits (relevant shift allowance applicable).

 Key duties include:

  • Facilitates all External Audits and Manages the Internal Audit Plan for the Site.
  • Conducts process, compliance and product audits in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Generation and Review of Audit Reports (Technical Writing)
  • Site Coordinator of the Layered Process Audit System (5S etc...)
  • Assesses CAPA Effectiveness periodically and provides feedback to the CAPA team
  • Chairs CAPA Meetings, Tracks Actions and Prepares Data for Quality Reports
  • Deliver Training to Internal Auditors and Inspection Operators (as required)
  • Assists Quality Department in general duties as required (e.g. Customer Complaint Investigations)


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Preferred one of the following; (A) Certified Auditor Training (B) 2+ Years Auditing Experience (C) Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100D or IATF 16949
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues in a professional & respectful manner whilst challenging the Status Quo
  • Advanced Technical Report Writing Skills (and use of Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
