General Summary:

Under general supervision, provides operational and administrative support to the staff and employees. This centralized function will initially cover the Orangeburg, Gaston, St Matthews, Sales and Engineer Center locations.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and verifies incoming and outgoing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Will assist in preparation of meetings and seminars as needed.
  • Maintain the data entry and reporting needs of the ISO Training database.
  • Prepares documents and composes routine correspondence, as required, on specific policy and procedural issues.
  • Gathers information, conducts basic data analysis, and assists in the development of reports.
  • Provide data for analysis from different sources including, but not limited to Oracle, Talent Quest and ADP as needed.
  • Performs specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested.
  • Provides assistance and coordination in the development, and maintenance of specialized human resources databases, computer software systems, and electronic filing systems.
  • Coordinate and/or plans scheduling of appointments, mediations, department presentations, training, and related functions.
  • Maintains staff calendars, prepares reports and/or minutes, composes correspondence, and coordinates the processing of purchase requisitions, check requests, and related documents.
  • Handle phone communications for the department
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Must test at the Intermediate level in all Microsoft products (or new version)
  • Two to four years of experience in an administrative role
  • Must be able to multitask and serve different Managers and locations simultaneously.
  • Reliability in checking own work to ensure accuracy
  • Ability to handle a multi-tasking working environment
