General Summary:

The Senior Supply Chain Manager position is responsible for coordinating all below-the-line Integrated Business Planning (IBP) activities specifically related to the Supply Plan.  Create and maintain departmental forecast models in hours for all Zeus manufacturing plants.  Work with Sales organization to communicate constraints and loading information.  Assist leadership in making informed decisions on capital expenditures and expansion plans.   


The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for creating the rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) from the demand team's rolling 24-month demand forecast.  Conduct ad hoc analyses for and provide support to operations leadership and plant level management.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop production forecasts (operational forecasts) for multiple time horizons as part of a supply planning function.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Review historical resource capability, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Performs "What-If?" scenarios based on process improvement, changing demand, and contingency planning.
  • Interact with Sales, Operations, and Engineering to understand forecast drivers, machine installation timelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Operations and Engineering to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for supply forecasts.
  • Use and maintain the supply planning tools used to construct the rolling 24-month supply plan
  • Collaborate with Procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials exists within the defined stocking window.
  • Collaborate with Demand Management group to align Supply and Demand plans.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required


  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Requires a bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in the field. MBA preferred.
  • High degree of skill in MS Excel, and Oracle preferred.
  • Prior experience in S&OP/ IBP environment a plus.

Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
