ZEUS produces tubing that delivers the temperature resistance, lubricity, high tensile strength, and exceptionally tight tolerances demanded by today's challenging applications in the medical, fluid handling, electrical and mechanical industry markets.

ZEUS has worldwide facilities in North America and Europe guaranteeing a stable source of supply to customers anywhere in the world. Zeus Industrial Products (Ireland) Ltd was established in 2006 with aim of supplying the European market. With the fast growth of our business in Europe, Zeus is seeking a competent, dedicated and technically oriented Business Development Manager to strengthen our European Team.


This position will report to the Senior Sales Manager (UK & Ireland) and is home office based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all business development activities in Great Britain
  • Develop annual plan for business development in GB to achieve the territory sales target
  • Grow business significantly in line with corporate objectives
  • Responsible for maximizing business and margin within the assigned territory
  • Research and identify sales prospects to generate new business, both for medical and non medical applications.
  • Develop strong relationship with R&D, Purchasing and Quality Department at main customers, with the purpose to find new opportunities and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicating frequently with group sales representatives and sales management regarding pertinent issues at accounts, quotes, samples, questions, etc.
  • Participate in designated trade shows and follow up on all leads
  • Identify new needs within customers and report to Zeus management
  • Obtain information regarding competition about pricing, lead times, capabilities, new products and report to Management.


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a related industry
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Polymer Science) or Sales/ Marketing or similar level of educational attainment
  • Proven business development and sales experience in target markets
  • Technically inclined with ability to sell applications and solutions
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Dynamic, energetic, resourceful and creative
  • Independent and able to work effectively and responsibly
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel extensively (min 50%)
