We have an opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator. The successful candidate should be prepared to help provide world-class products and service to a diverse customer base, including many leading medical device manufacturers.

You must possess the ability to work independently; and the desire to learn a variety of skills. The ability to communicate clearly is imperative.

Here are the Job Duties and Skills required:

  • Work with shop floor operators and quality personnel to develop level I and II Pareto's of scrap and defect information.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to develop root cause determination using Man, Method, Machine, and Material analysis
  • Conduct value stream mapping exercises to identify process waste. Work with Plant management to simplify and combine processes
  • Document current and ideal practices using A3 format
  • Implement post completion audits to assure compliance of improvements
  • Work on shop floor 4-6 hours per day. 2-4 hours per day in data analysis and A3 preparations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Demonstrated success at numerous shop floor improvement activities
  • Formal training in Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • 1-3 years of experience in leading shop floor continuous improvement activities
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
